The 06 season was a great one for Jake. He started the year on a worn out Honda XR100 that a friend of ours felt was not worth fixing up to race. All we did to the bike was clean it up and put brakes, tires and a chain and sprocket set on it. Jake raced the bike in Formula 1, Formula 2 and Thumper 125. He rode the wheels off of the bike and won many races with it in all three classes. At the end of the season he had won the points championship in all three F1, F2 and Thumper 125 with the bike.

Only a couple of weeks into the 06 season we found a CRF150 that needed a transmission overhaul. We bought it and fixed it up for him to run in Thumper 150 and GP 85. With no other work than putting tires and chain and sprockets on the bike he ended up winning the Thumper 150 championship with it and was second in GP 85.

After Jake was getting all he could out of the 150 we found a Suzuki RM85 to fix up for him to race GP 85 on. We had a set of 12" Excell wheels built for the bike and freshened up the top end.
